Catholic teens honored with St. John Paul II youth awards in Yuma area

Twenty-four teenage Catholics were recognized for work at their parishes and Catholic schools in the Yuma area in March.
The St. John Paul II Awards were celebrated at a banquet ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Somerton, located about 10 miles south of Yuma, on March 2.

The honorees are:

A ceremony will be held at St. Francis de Sales Parish in Tucson on April 16 for youth leaders from all other diocesan parishes and Catholic schools.
