Lourdes Award

Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas is shown the garden at Lourdes Catholic High School in Nogales, which won the National Council of Catholic Women’s first “St Francis Care for Creation Award.” The award recognizes schools that put faith into action to reduce their campus’ carbon footprint, to care for the “least of these,” and to raise the Catholic voice on behalf of the environment and the poor.
