John Carr retiring from USCCB
Posted on by AdminWASHINGTON (CNS) — John Carr, the longtime director of the U.S. bishops’ domestic and international policy programs, is retiring at the end of August.
Carr announced on June 8 that he’s accepting a fellowship this fall at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University and he also wants “to focus my remaining energies on efforts to help form, support and encourage Catholic lay men and women to be more effective leaders in bringing Catholic principles to public life and all of society.”
